Welcome to Shannon Chapoy, a professional love coaching service provided through shannonchapoy.com (the "Website").

By accessing or using this Website and/or engaging our love coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website or our services.

1. Nature of Services

  • We provide love coaching, personal development guidance, goal-setting support, and related services ("Services").
  • Love Coaching is not psychotherapy, medical advice, financial advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated professional counseling.
  • You acknowledge that coaching results are not guaranteed and depend entirely on your own effort, commitment, and circumstances.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. By using the Website or engaging our Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Sessions are booked and paid for in advance via the booking system on the Website.
  • All fees are listed in EUR and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our Cancellation & Refund Policy (Section 6).
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already paid for.

4. Scheduling and Attendance

  • You are responsible for attending sessions at the scheduled time.
  • Rescheduling is permitted with at least 24–48 hours’ notice (see booking confirmation email for exact policy).
  • No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the session and fee.

5. Session Format

  • Sessions are conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, phone, or in-person as specified.
  • Sessions may be recorded only with the explicit prior consent of both parties. Recordings (if any) are for your personal use only and must not be shared publicly.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 24/48 hours before the session: full credit toward a future session or refund (minus any payment processor fees).
  • Less than 24/48 hours’ notice or no-show: no refund or credit.
  • Packages expire X months/years from purchase date and are non-refundable after the first session is used.

7. Confidentiality

  • We treat all information you share as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent serious harm.
  • You agree not to disclose confidential information shared by the coach without prior written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Website, worksheets, materials, and resources provided during coaching remain our intellectual property.
  • You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for your personal use only. You may not sell, distribute, or reproduce them without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from coaching.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or Website.
  • Our total liability shall in no event exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services or Website at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Your Country/State, e.g., the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in the courts of Your City/County, State.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
